SkinWizard 12% Hydroquinone
cream
The lightening formula originally proposed
by Dr Kligman remains the most effective treatment for melasma
(chloasma). Most doctors mix equal proportions of hydroquinone
4% (the highest strength commercially available), tretinoin 0.05
- 0.1% and a steroid cream. Unfortunately, the final concentration
of hydroquinone is only 1.33%, which probably explains its lack
of efficacy. SkinWizard's
12% hydroquinone cream overcomes
this problem and allows a variety of 4% hydroquinone creams to
be formulated.
